A couplet is a pair of successive rhyming lines in a verse that contain the same meter to form a unit. The best relationships are a partnership of two people who walk through life together, unique but connected, like two lines of verse that form a complete thought. This is my Sacred Circle Series. Each painting has a Circle as it's core element. The Circle is a universal form that contains the concept of connection, community and cycles through time. It is a prominent element in spiritual traditions such as Celtic, Native American Indian, Tibetan Buddistm.
